Capacity to experiment

Capacity to experiment is the ability of the household to test innovations or management practices that are new to them. This may be assessed depending on the number of components a household or farmer is able to adopt of the new technology. A score may be provided for those who are able to use components of the new innovation, and for those who do not use any.
